Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day servicing of assigned commercial accounts, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction throughout the policy lifecycle.
- Support and back up administrative servicing needs including, but not limited to: binders, certificates, evidence of property, auto ID cards, MVRs, endorsements, invoicing, audits, claims, cancellations, and policy reviews.
- Oversee new business and renewal processes, including reviewing risk exposure and advising clients on appropriate coverage solutions.
- Partner with senior advisors to develop and execute marketing strategies for new and renewal business.
- Prepare submissions, market accounts to carriers, and negotiate coverage terms, conditions, and pricing.
- Collaborate with underwriters to gather necessary information and ensure timely placement of business.
- Assist in monitoring complex claims and risk control matters in coordination with internal specialists.
- Review contracts and leases to identify potential risk exposures and ensure compliance considerations are addressed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
- Communicate billing and payment requirements clearly to clients.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and potential oversight to junior team members, including training and workflow support.
- Active California Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
- 5 years of commercial insurance account management experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and agency management systems (e.g., EPIC or similar).
