Position Summary
Manages a wide range of administrative, coordination and IT support related tasks to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the Safety Team.
Position Details
- Prepares, edits and distributes routine correspondence, reports and Coordinates Safety Team calendar including key events, Safety Programs and deliverables.
- Technical support for Safety IT Software, SharePoint (edocument filing), spreadsheets, presentations, etc., as required.
- Manages the Safety storage inventory and ordering including PPE, training materials and incentives.
- Monitors, screens and assists in managing Safety email, mail and telephone communications.
- Assists with coordinating onboarding of Safety Team members, special projects and safety initiatives as needed, including the setting up of Safety Training
- Document editing, proofing, formatting, and production for SOPs and Training Material
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in administrative role
- Excellent knowledge of Word Processing software, Internet software, and Spreadsheet software
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write basic correspondence.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
