Community Summary
The Venetian Golf & River Club is a 1,039 acre, 1377 home Northern Italian Renaissance themed gated community situated on the north side of Laurel Road, 1.5 miles east of Exit 195 on I-75 adjoining the Myakka River in North Venice, Florida.
At the center of the community is the crown jewel of this breathtaking complex, the distinguished, Mediterranean inspired River Club, packed with a multitude of luxurious amenities which offer both fine dining as well as a more casual experience. All residents have access to the River Club, which offers world class amenities including six Har-Tru Tennis Courts, a 74-acre nature park with Boardwalk for wildlife and birdwatching, Fitness Center with professional Fitness Classes, and a beautiful Community Swimming Pool and Spa, including an outdoor poolside Tiki Bar.
Role Summary
The Compliance Inspector plays a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic and operational standards of our community. This position is primarily responsible for monitoring the community to identify and document any compliance infractions using an Association-issued iPad. Working closely with the General Manager, you will ensure that property details are accurately recorded and promptly reported, supporting the enforcement of community rules and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Drive their vehicle throughout the community to identify lots where violations of the governing documents exist
- Use an iPad to document that violation for the purpose of communicating that violation to the owner and/or occupant of the unit
- Ideal candidates will have an interest in studying the association's governing documents,
- Apply the standards in the documents in real-life situations
- and tracking those violation notices with the aid of company software.
- Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, strong communicators, and be comfortable working alone, with some interaction with homeowners and staff.

Qualifications:- Must have own vehicle, clean driving record, and be detail oriented
- Must have a high level of IT proficiency, be exceptionally organized, and possess strong time management skills, as well as the ability to multitask daily
- Be a team player
- Background screening and pre-employment drug screening are required
- The ability to utilize technology is mandatory
- Must be able to communicate information and ideas so that others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
- Must be able to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
- Must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions while on-site at various communities
- Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder or stairs
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
- Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, or reach as needed.
- Ability to lift or move objects up to 10–15 pounds (e.g., files, office supplies).
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment.
- Visual acuity to read printed materials, spreadsheets, and computer screens.
- Hearing and speech ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in virtual meetings.
- Ability to work in a standard office environment with moderate noise levels.
- Ability to work a standard schedule, with occasional extended hours as required.
