- Serve as the software quality and compliance leader for a Class III neuromodulation platform
- Own and drive software-related Design Controls, Risk Management, and Cybersecurity activities
- Partner closely with Software, Firmware, Systems, Regulatory, and Quality teams across the full product lifecycle
- Influence quality strategy for mobile applications, firmware, and cloud‑connected systems
- Support and lead FDA and international audits from a software quality perspective
- Act as a senior technical voice shaping best practices for a growing organization
- 8 years of Medical Device experience
- 5 years of hands‑on experience with software development environments, including:
- Embedded firmware
- Mobile applications
- Cloud‑based / connected systems
- Proven experience leading Design Controls, Risk Management, and Cybersecurity efforts for Class II and/or Class III devices
- Strong working knowledge of:
- IEC 62304
- IEC 62366
- IEC 60601
- FDA software and cybersecurity guidance
- Demonstrated experience supporting and leading audits (FDA and international) from a software quality standpoint
