What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Engineer position at Real?
Clinical Engineers are focused on bridging clinical needs with product and process development. They work closely with clinicians and surgeons to gather clinical input, understand current challenges, and conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) activities to ensure solutions align with real-world user needs.
A key part of the role is evaluating workflows that are currently performed manually and helping to design, refine, and implement more efficient processes. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate clinical requirements into practical workflow improvements, ensuring that new processes are both effective and user-friendly in a healthcare setting.
- 5 YOE in hands-on clinical engineering (Sr.-Staff level)
- Hands-on experience in the OR (5 years minimum)
- Orthopedics experience required
- Experience with the integration of digital navigation systems (of any kind)
- Experience conducting cadaver labs
