Our client, a growing invesor relations and strategic communications agency focused on healthcare and life sciences, is seeking an Account Director or Vice President to support later‑stage biotech and medtech companies as they prepare to engage investors, stakeholders, and the broader market. This role is ideal for a communications strategist with strong healthcare knowledge, a corporate communications or investor relations background, and exceptional presentation and storytelling skills. The focus is on strategy, messaging, and narrative development.
- Partner with biotech and medtech clients to develop clear, credible investor‑facing narratives and positioning.
- Lead strategic messaging initiatives that translate complex healthcare and scientific concepts into compelling business stories.
- Advise clients on how best to communicate their value proposition, differentiation, and growth trajectory to investors.
- Develop and refine investor materials, including pitch decks, corporate presentations, and strategic communications frameworks.
- Support later‑stage companies as they evolve their communications in preparation for fundraising, public market activity, or strategic milestones.
- Serve as a trusted strategic partner to senior client stakeholders across communications, strategy, and leadership teams.
- Work cross‑functionally with internal colleagues across strategy, research, and execution.
- 8-10 years of experience in corporate communications, investor relations, strategic communications, or management consulting.
- Strong healthcare industry experience, ideally within biotech or medtech
- Proven ability to help companies tell their story to external stakeholders, particularly investors.
- Exceptional presentation and slide‑deck development skills.
- Experience working closely with executives and senior leadership teams.
- Strategic thinker able to synthesize complex information into clear, compelling narratives.
- Exposure to investor relations or capital markets adjacent communications is strongly preferred.
- MBA or Master's degree in communications, strategy, or a related field preferred but not required.
Hybrid work schedule with three days per week in office. New York City or Boston preferred.
