Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other industrial machinery, ensuring smooth production flows.
- Perform routine mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse, utilizing forklift and hand tools for heavy lifting and movement of raw materials and finished products.
- Execute packaging tasks with precision, adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards and FDA regulations to ensure product safety and compliance.
- Follow strict safety standards during production activities, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of hazardous materials.
- Assist in assembly processes for various product components, maintaining quality control throughout each step.
- Conduct routine inspections of manufacturing lines, troubleshoot industrial equipment issues, and document any deviations or repairs needed.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing facility, preferably within the cannabis or pharmaceutical industry, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and FDA regulations related to production environments.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment and perform basic repairs using hand tools.
- Experience operating warehouse machinery with proper certification is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments, including heavy lifting techniques and safe materials handling practices.
- Proven ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
- Comfortable working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial automation systems.
