Casa Bliss is Syracuse’s newest adult-use dispensary, committed to providing a welcoming, educational, and exceptional customer experience. We’re looking for friendly, knowledgeable, and motivated Budtenders who are passionate about helping customers find the right products while maintaining full compliance with New York State regulations.
Position Summary
As a Budtender at Casa Bliss, you will be the face of our dispensary. You’ll greet customers, educate them on our products, process sales accurately, and create a positive shopping experience for every guest. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, dependable, eager to learn, and enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Welcome every customer with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Verify customer age and identification in accordance with New York State regulations.
- Educate customers on flower, pre-rolls, vapes, edibles, concentrates, beverages, tinctures, and accessories.
- Make personalized product recommendations based on customer preferences and desired experiences.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash and electronic transactions while balancing the register.
- Maintain accurate inventory and assist with stocking and merchandising displays.
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and inviting.
- Follow all New York cannabis laws, company policies, and compliance procedures.
- Stay current on new products, promotions, and industry trends.
- Assist with online, pickup, and delivery orders as needed.
- Work as part of a team to meet daily sales and customer service goals.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Cannabis industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable learning about cannabis products and educating customers.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer and POS system experience.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
