Reports To: Packaging Manager

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Job Summary

Work with a team of packing staff to pack large quantities of products in a fast-paced operation. Assist in prep work, rotating stock and washing sheet pans as needed. Assists in maintaining overall packing room cleanliness and health code compliance..

Schedule: Monday - Friday (7am - 3:30pm)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to

• Inspect product for defects, package & seal gummies, Cannabis Vapes, Pre-Rolls, Balms and/or Tinctures.
• Accurately fill required quantity
• Perform occasional weight verifications with a scale to verify quantity.
• Weigh, tape, lift, and stack filled shipping cases and boxes.
• Proper use of required PPE & follow Food Safety Guidelines and maintain cleanliness of all work areas.
• Meet daily production goals.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, including floors, with soap, warm water and sanitizer both during the shift and after the location's close in order to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Support other production areas as needed (canning line, packaging, vape production, extraction.)

Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

• 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma and/or Equivalent Vocational Training
• 1 years previous experience in manufacturing or retail preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and work experience will be considered.
• Must be reliable and trustworthy

Equipment/Machinery:

Manual packaging tools and equipment.

Physical Exertion:

Moderate Work- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Work may include loading and unloading cases of product, setting up, lifting, lowering, and moving product.

Environmental Conditions:

Indoor Work- Indoor environments may include exposure to temperature variations, such as unheated or non-air-conditioned areas.

Travel:

No Regular Travel- This position does not require regular travel.
