Role Description
The Head Preschool Teacher is an on-site position located in New York, NY, and is offered on a contract basis. The role involves leading a classroom, developing and implementing lesson plans, designing innovative curricula, and fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for young learners. The Head Preschool Teacher will also work closely with children and families to support early childhood development while ensuring alignment with the school's educational philosophy and standards.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to deliver engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences
- Strong background in Early Childhood Education and Kindergarten instruction
- Excellent Communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues
- Passion for fostering a diverse and inclusive classroom environment
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- New York State Teaching Certification is required
- Experience with multilingual or immersion programs is a plus
