Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Preschool Teacher role at our location in Brooklyn, NY. The Assistant Preschool Teacher will support lead teachers in delivering daily lessons, implementing curriculum plans, and fostering a safe and stimulating environment for young children. Additional responsibilities include assisting with behavior management, ensuring the children's safety, maintaining an organized classroom, and engaging in regular communication with children, families, and team members.
Qualifications
- Experience or skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
- Knowledge of Early Childhood Education and Kindergarten teaching practices
- Strong Communication and teamwork abilities
- Passion for working with young children and fostering their development
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience in a classroom or childcare setting is an advantage
