Reaction Search International is conducting a confidential search for a Human Resources Director, North America on behalf of a leading international industrial organization.
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a strategic and commercially minded HR executive who can help shape the people strategy for a growing North American business during a period of transformation. Reporting to the North America Managing Director, with a dotted line to the Chief People Officer, this individual will serve as a key member of the regional leadership team and a trusted partner to executive leadership.
The Human Resources Director will lead HR strategy across a multi-site environment, with a focus on organizational capability, talent development, workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, culture, and change management. This role requires a leader who can operate at both a strategic and hands-on level, aligning people initiatives with business performance and growth objectives.
Key areas of responsibility include organizational design, succession planning, talent acquisition, leadership coaching, performance management, employee relations, HR operations, and supporting transformation initiatives such as restructuring, integration, or broader organizational change.
The ideal candidate will bring proven senior HR leadership experience within a multi-site industrial, manufacturing, or related operational environment. Candidates should demonstrate strong commercial acumen, executive presence, and a track record of influencing senior stakeholders while building scalable people practices across a complex organization. Experience in an international or publicly traded company environment is a plus.
