Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Operations to lead and optimize day-to-day business operations across multiple locations in North Carolina. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, improving efficiency, and ensuring alignment with company goals. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a data-driven mindset and a proven ability to scale operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across multiple sites, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and high performance
- Develop and implement operational strategies to support business growth and profitability
- Lead, coach, and develop regional managers and department heads
- Analyze performance metrics and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control initiatives
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, company policies, and safety standards
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and expansion initiatives
- Streamline processes and implement best practices to enhance productivity
- Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and supply chain operations
- Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
Qualifications
- 7–10 years of operations leadership experience, preferably in multi-unit or regional environments
- Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and driving business results
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
- Experience managing budgets, financial reporting, and performance metrics
- Ability to think strategically while executing tactically
- Proficiency with operational systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
Preferred Experience
- Experience in hospitality or multi-location service industries
- Experience leading teams through growth, change, or transformation initiatives
