Qualifications:
In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as: experience supervising or providing direction, guidance, or leadership to a technical or project organization, group and/or team, on policy or technical issues. Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to:- As the Branch Chief, you will lead and manage a technical organization supporting the agency's mission to protect public health, safety, and the environment. You will provide oversight of regulatory activities involving engineering programs and branch infrastructure.
- You will plan, prioritize, and execute branch work; allocate resources; and ensure timely, high-quality results aligned with agency goals. You will supervise and develop staff, manage performance, and administer human resources programs in accordance with EEO and merit system principles.
- You will implement organizational improvements, resolve complex policy and technical issues, and collaborate across the agency to ensure consistent regulatory outcomes. You will also support the Division Director in developing operating plans, policies, and performance measures to assess and improve branch effectiveness.
Salary : $147,945
