Summary
We are seeking a Landscape Foreman to join our team. This role is crucial for overseeing landscaping routes, supporting construction projects and ensuring high-quality landscape maintenance of our properties. As a Landscape Foreman, you will contribute significantly to our mission of enriching neighborhoods through exceptional landscape management.
Responsibilities
- Manage and complete daily landscaping routes to ensure timely completion
- Oversee landscape maintenance activities, including lawn care, mulching and tree care as needed
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in landscaping
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with other departments to align landscaping efforts with community goals, including monthly Community Care Clean Up initiatives
- Maintain equipment and tools used for landscaping tasks and enforce best practices
- Report on project progress and address any issues that arise
- Oversee dumpster best practices, tool sign out return, and maintain our material room
- During the winter months, work on call in inclement weather, manage multiple snow shoveling routes for rental units and oversee scheduling of team members for route completion in a timely fashion
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance and landscaping
- Proven experience managing a crew with strong supervisory skills
- Knowledge of lawn care, tree care, and snow removal processes
- Familiarity with basic construction practices is preferred
- Excellent leadership abilities and communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- On call during winter months as needed is required
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
