We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties in the Pittsburgh Hilltop area. This position requires an individual with strong leadership abilities, exceptional customer service skills, and a deep understanding of property management best practices. The Senior Property Manager will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, tenant satisfaction, and profitability across all managed properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Property Operations: Oversee the management of multiple properties, ensuring all operations run smoothly. This includes handling tenant inquiries, addressing maintenance issues, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Tenant Relations & Lease Administration: Manage tenant relations and resolve any disputes in a timely and professional manner. Administer lease agreements, renewals, and rent collection processes (as needed)
- Staff Management: Lead and mentor a team of property managers and administrative staff, providing guidance and support for professional development.During turnover season (March-September) serve as a turnover agent and process all security deposit deductions for large scale property turns
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare regular property reports, performance evaluations, and strategic plans. Maintain clear and effective communication with tenants, the property owner, and internal teams.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years experience in property management
- Strong knowledge of property management principles, leasing processes, and financials.
- Valid driver's license and dependable vehicle
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple properties and tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in the property management software AppFolio
- Slack knowledge is preferred, but not required
- In-depth understanding of Pittsburgh’s property regulations and local real estate market trends.
- Flexibility is a must. The schedule is Monday- Friday 9-5 but occasional nights and weekend work is required to get the job done
Salary : $50,000 - $70,000
