This role supports a high-impact government technical development program focused on entitlement systems and identity & access management (IdAM/ICAM). The engineer will design and implement cloud-native architectures in AWS, providing hands-on technical leadership and guidance to development and mission teams.

- Lead and deliver cloud solutions tailored to mission requirements
- Design, develop, and support enterprise software and infrastructure in AWS
- Provide execution guidance and hands-on engineering support to teams
- Support security patching, server operations, and AWS environments
- Guide cloud implementation priorities and best practices
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Dev, Security, Compliance, QA) in Agile/SAFe/Scrum environments
- BS degree with 11–15 years of relevant experience
- Strong experience with IdAM/ICAM, authentication, authorization, entitlement management, and digital policy management
- Experience with security accreditation processes
- Deep knowledge of AWS, cloud architecture, and infrastructure-as-code
- DevOps/CI/CD experience (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker, Puppet, Azure DevOps)
- Strong communication skills and enterprise-level collaboration experience
- TS/SCI with Polygraph
- AWS Associate-level certification
- 3 years of C2S experience
- Experience with CloudFormation, serverless architectures, and data lakes (e.g., Elasticsearch)
- Cloud migration experience and ability to provide detailed technical direction
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder requirements
