RCM Technologies, a multi-disciplinary engineering company located in Oakland, NJ, is seeking Senior Structural Engineers a minimum of 7 years of experience in the design of structures and/or foundations for industrial and commercial buildings, industrial facilities, electrical substations, electrical generation stations, and miscellaneous structures. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career advancement for a mid-level structural engineer through participation in a team-oriented and interdisciplinary approach to developing innovative engineering solutions for our local, national and international clients. This position can apply to a Foundation Engineer, or Structural Engineer. While broad experience in both above and below grade design is preferred, expertise in either is acceptable.

Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor of Science (BS) or Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
- Minimum of Seven (7) years of foundation and/or above grade structural steel/concrete design in industrial and commercial building design, Generation Stations and/or Substation design experience
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance from other engineers
- Willing to sign and seal structural drawings in various States
- Experience with Concrete and Steel Design (Expertise in either is acceptable)
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis, preferably STAAD Pro and RISA 3D
- Experience with Foundation Design, preferable with LPILE, Enercalc
- Ability to develop and review design drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Ability to prepare structural calculations using Excel and MathCAD
- Ability to conduct site visits and structural field investigation
- Work within a team-oriented environment (with other civil, electrical, mechanical engineers) to successfully complete projects within established budgets and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with industrial sites, electric generating stations, and/or substations
- Expert understanding of structural engineering codes and regulations including ASCE-7, AISC, ACI, AWS, and related
