Full-Time Contract:

Role: Data Operations Lead – Patient CRM Systems

Compensation: Up to $60, commensurate with experience

Location: Princeton, NJ — Hybrid (3 days onsite/week)

Length of Contract: 6 month

Position Description:

We're looking for a Data Operations Lead to take ownership of the health, reliability, and integrity of patient data across our Patient CRM ecosystem. You'll be the go-to person when data issues arise, driving quality monitoring, stewardship, and remediation efforts, while also governing how changes move into production. Think of this as the operational backbone for making sure patient data stays accurate, audit-ready, and trustworthy across the business.

Responsibilities:

Incident & Problem Resolution

• Serve as the first point of contact when CRM or Portal data issues surface
• Drive root-cause investigations and build corrective action plans
• Partner across business, tech, and vendor teams to resolve issues quickly
• Put lasting fixes and preventive guardrails in place

Quality Monitoring & Visibility

• Build out a framework for ongoing data quality monitoring
• Create scorecards, dashboards, and alerting to track key metrics
• Watch critical data elements closely and flag risk before it becomes a problem
• Push proactive fixes rather than waiting for issues to escalate

Stewardship Operations

• Run day-to-day stewardship workflows, patient identity, demographic updates, duplicate resolution, exception handling
• Coordinate adjudication between business and technical stewards
• Keep clean records of decisions and stewardship performance

Data Cleanup & Remediation

• Own the strategy for cleaning up and correcting problematic data
• Stand up a formal "data detox" process
• Prioritize the remediation backlog by business and compliance impact
• Keep pushing for incremental quality gains

Change Management

• Act as business owner for production data change requests
• Assess impact and manage approvals across CRM, portals, MDM, and integrated platforms
• Make sure every production change follows governance protocol

Archival, Backup & Recovery

• Set business requirements for archival, retention, backup, and recovery
• Keep these processes aligned with compliance, legal, privacy, and continuity needs

Launch Readiness

• Support new product launches by confirming data readiness ahead of go-live
• Ensure monitoring, stewardship, and reporting are in place before deployment
• Lead operational acceptance activities

Governance Execution

• Carry out governance policy set by the Data Governance team
• Confirm adherence to standards and controls
• Provide audit evidence and reporting support
• Keep SLA and KPI performance on track

Qualifications

• 8-10 years across data operations, data quality, CRM support, stewardship, and incident management

Preferred

• Background working with patient, provider, or other regulated healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with data quality/observability tools and dashboards
• Familiarity with MDM and patient identity management
• Working knowledge of HIPAA, PHI handling, and audit processes
• Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud or Health Cloud experience

Success Metrics

Fewer recurring incidents, improved data quality scores, faster resolution times, a shrinking stewardship backlog, strong audit readiness, better SLA attainment, and greater business trust in CRM data.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Healthcare, or a related field
