Job Summary The Social Work Navigator is a grant-funded position supporting the UCSF-led California Mental Health Access Program (Cal-MAP) in Southern California. This role provides case management support, assists with recruitment of pediatricians to participate in the Cal-MAP consultation line, and helps coordinate training and educational events for pediatric providers in Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. The Social Work Navigator works collaboratively with healthcare providers, families, and program leadership to improve access to pediatric mental health services. Pay Range Minimum $78,229 Midpoint $103,667 Maximum $129,085 Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements. Experience • Required: Minimum one (1) year of experience working with families and children. • Preferred: Experience with children and families in a healthcare setting. Education • Required: Master's degree in social work from an accredited institution. Training • Required: None required. • Preferred: Experience in providing psychotherapy to children and families is preferred. Special Skills • Required: Ability to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Ability to write and speak with a professional quality. Proficient use of Microsoft Office e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Excellent analytical and organization skills; excellent critical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments; compose written material; work well under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail. • Preferred: Bilingual Licensure • Required: RQI Responder – American Heart Association. • Preferred: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - CA .
