RCCAA Daycare Director

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic RCCAA Daycare Director to lead our early childhood education program with enthusiasm and dedication. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations of the daycare, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. Duties

• Manage daily daycare operations, including staff scheduling, classroom activities, and safety protocols
• Lead and motivate a team of educators and caregivers to deliver high-quality childcare and early childhood education
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and organizational policies
• Foster strong relationships with families through regular communication, updates, and parent engagement initiatives
• Oversee staff training on topics such as behavior management, child development, first aid, and special education needs
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, incident reports, developmental assessments, and licensing documentation

Qualifications

• Proven experience in childcare management or as a daycare director with a strong background in early childhood education
• Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in preschool and toddler care
• Demonstrated classroom experience working directly with children across various age groups including infants and toddlers
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
• Certifications such as first aid/CPR are required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise staff effectively while maintaining a positive team environment
• Excellent communication skills to engage families and collaborate with community partners
