We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, repair and maintenance services for our clients. The Field Service Technician will work closely with the service team to ensure that all technical issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
This position requires extensive travel, up to 80% of the time, to client sites across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-site technical support, repair and maintenance services for our clients
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair technical problems with equipment and systems
Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and systems
Install, configure and commission new equipment and systems
Provide technical training to clients and end-users
Document all service and repair work accurately and completely
Maintain an inventory of spare parts and equipment
Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients
Keep up-to-date with new technology and industry trends
Requirements:
Ability to travel up to 80% of the time
Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to travel to client sites as required
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Associate's degree in a technical field preferred
Industry certifications a plus
2 years of experience in a similar role
