Accounts Payable Specialist

RC Furniture, a high-end furniture manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This is a fast-paced role within a well-established accounting team, ideal for someone who can work independently, stay organized, and take ownership of the AP process from start to finish.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

· Process high-volume invoices accurately and in a timely manner

· Review and verify invoices, ensuring correct pricing, quantities, and approvals

· Identify and resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices

· Communicate with vendors to address inquiries and resolve issues

· Prepare and process weekly check runs

· Manage ACH, credit card, and pay-by-phone transactions

· Monitor and maintain AP aging to ensure accuracy and timely payments

· Maintain and update vendor files, including onboarding new vendors

· Prepare debit memos and apply applicable discounts

· Support month-end closing activities

· Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth workflow and issue resolution

Qualifications

· 3 years of Accounts Payable experience

· Experience processing high-volume invoices (100 per week preferred)

· Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

· Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks

· Strong communication skills (bilingual English/Spanish preferred)

· Proficient in Excel and accounting systems
