Richard’s Total Backyard Solutions, a Top 50 Builder and Service Company, is seeking a Pool Service / Maintenance Manager to lead and support our pool service and maintenance team. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys working in the field, developing team members, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Position Summary
The Pool Service / Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations across our Houston and Montgomery locations. This role supports technicians in the field, troubleshoots equipment issues, and ensures high-quality service delivery. As a key point of contact for both team members and customers, this individual provides hands-on leadership, working alongside technicians as needed while driving team performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support pool Service/ and pool maintenance technicians in the field
- Provide hands-on support in the field alongside technicians as needed
- Troubleshoot and assist with minor pool equipment repairs
- Ensure quality control across all service routes and customer accounts
- Handle customer concerns and escalations with professionalism
- Train, coach, and develop team members
- Monitor performance and maintain accountability within the team
- Assist with scheduling and route efficiency as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pool cleaning/service/ and repair
- Experience with minor pool equipment repair and troubleshooting required
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is a plus
