What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control (QC) Inspector / CMM Technician position at RB ENTERPRISES?
Location: Mukilteo, Washington
Type: Full-Time | Day Shift (Overtime as needed)
Schedule: Monday–Friday (8am – 4:30pm)
We are a small machine shop seeking a hands-on QC Inspector with some CMM experience to support aerospace production. This role works closely with our QA Manager and offers long-term growth in a small-business environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections
- Support AS9102 FAIRs and inspection documentation
- Operate and help develop programs for a newly installed CMM (training provided)
- Inspect small precision parts using standard tools
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Support corrective actions and nonconformance resolution
- Work directly with machinists to address quality issues
- Verify documentation for special processes (plating, anodize, heat treat)
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of machine shop QC inspection experience
- Some CMM experience preferred; willingness to learn required
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills
- Experience inspecting small precision parts
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Day shift with overtime as needed
