Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee federal construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in construction management, project scheduling, and site coordination. This role requires a strong understanding of industry-standard software and technical schematics, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to federal regulations. The Construction Project Manager will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage contracts, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout all phases of construction.
Duties
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of federal construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, and other construction management software.
- Prepare and review construction estimates utilizing Excell spreadsheets and other estimating tools.
- Oversee project scope, contracts, and change orders to ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Utilize ProCore, Exchange, Bldg Connected, for project documentation, drawing review, and communication with stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety compliance, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate effective project coordination.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently through effective time management strategies.
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately to guide construction activities.
- Ensure all work complies with federal regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Prepare progress reports and documentation for stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a focus on federal projects.
- Past experience in Primavera P6, MS Project, ProCore, and other construction management software tools.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling, contract administration, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective project coordination among diverse teams.
- Experience in construction site supervision with a solid understanding of safety protocols.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Strong organizational skills with effective time management capabilities.
