Position Focus
The Paintline Handler is responsible for supporting daily operations of the paintline, including equipment
maintenance, system testing, and chemical handling. This position ensures that all paintline processes run
safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
This role is ideal for someone eager to learn a custom-built system from scratch, take initiative, and
develop technical expertise in paintline operations. The Paintline Handler will work closely with
supervisors and team members to ensure proper operation and reporting of all equipment and processes.
Essential Job Functions
● Perform daily maintenance and inspection of paintline equipment to ensure proper operation.
● Conduct tests of chemicals, paints, and coatings according to standard procedures.
● Monitor and document operational parameters of the paintline, reporting results to supervisors.
● Identify and communicate any issues, malfunctions, or safety concerns promptly.
● Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for chemical handling, testing, and equipment
operation.
● Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with 5S and company safety protocols.
● Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives on the paintline.
● Learn and adapt to a custom-built operational system, taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.
● Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production and safety goals.
● Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Required:
● Willingness and ability to learn a specialized, custom-built paintline system from scratch.
● Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
● Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
● Ability to communicate effectively and report progress or issues regularly to supervisors.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Preferred:
● Previous experience in manufacturing, chemical handling, or paintline operations.
● Basic understanding of maintenance or process testing procedures.
● Familiarity with 5S, lean principles, or other operational improvement frameworks.
