Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with breathing disorders, providing emergency care for patients experiencing life-threatening respiratory problems, and educating patients on how to manage their respiratory conditions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducting diagnostic tests to evaluate patients' lung capacity and function
- Administering medications and treatments to patients with respiratory issues
- Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Collaborating with physicians to develop and implement comprehensive respiratory care plans
- Educating patients and their families on how to properly use respiratory equipment
- Responding to emergency situations and providing life-saving interventions as necessary
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT)
- CPR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of respiratory equipment and procedures
