Job Description
Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT) - Rehab
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our rehab team. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for helping patients recover and improve their daily living skills and abilities through therapeutic activities and interventions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct assessments to identify patient's strengths, limitations, and goals
- Develop personalized treatment plans to address patient's needs and goals
- Implement therapeutic activities and interventions to improve patient's motor skills, mobility, and independence
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide holistic care for patients
- Educate patients and their families on adaptive strategies and techniques
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plan as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of practice
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Previous experience in a rehab setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to providing quality patient care
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to occupational therapy practice
