Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients to help them improve their ability to perform daily activities and participate in meaningful occupations. You will assess patients' needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy to help individuals achieve their goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct assessments to identify patients' strengths and limitations
- Develop treatment plans and goals with input from patients and their families
- Provide individualized therapy sessions to help patients improve their functional abilities
- Educate patients and families on how to carry out therapeutic activities at home
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Keep detailed records of patient progress and communicate with healthcare team members
- Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in occupational therapy
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- State licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
- Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of current occupational therapy principles and practices
