Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager for Chicken Shack to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, extensive food service management experience, and a passion for the hospitality industry. Duties

• Manage daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving processes
• Supervise staff training, development, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of customer service and food safety
• Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food stock levels to minimize waste and control costs
• Operate and troubleshoot POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and sales tracking
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling procedures and sanitation standards
• Lead shift management by coordinating staff schedules, assigning duties, and ensuring efficient workflow during peak hours
• Maintain quality control over food production and presentation in accordance with brand standards
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a welcoming environment
• Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes to build a skilled team
• Monitor financial performance through budgeting, cost control, and sales analysis to meet operational goals

Requirements

• Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments with a focus on food industry standards
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, kitchen management, and food safety protocols
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
• Demonstrated leadership skills in team management, staff training & development, and supervising teams in hospitality settings
• Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food management practices
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
• Previous experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles preferred; supervisory experience highly valued
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Hospitality management background including hotel or catering experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates effectively and lead staff meetings
