The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze current manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement optimized production methods to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Design layout plans for manufacturing facilities to maximize space utilization and workflow.
- Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Work cross-functionally to implement changes effectively.
- Conduct audits, process mapping, and data analysis to identify inefficiencies, bottle necks and areas of improvement.
- Implement production metrics to track performance and identify trends.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
- Support the implementation of new equipment and technology upgrades.
- Facilitate training programs for staff on new processes and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant industry experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD, simulation software, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Standing and walking for extended periods in manufacturing facilities
- Manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment
- Lifting and carrying objects up to approximately 25 pounds
- Good visual acuity for inspecting products and reading documents
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Stamina to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
