Raycap, Inc., a leading developer of innovative surge protection, connectivity and monitoring solutions has a rare opportunity for a Test Engineer to join our team.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Building, testing, and evaluating electrical distribution products during the production process
- Ensuring adherence to customer design specifications and production standards
- Applying knowledge of standard and custom electrical test equipment and procedures
- Regular adherence to performance of applicable procedures in the Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety standards (OSHAS); ensuring processes remain sustainable, suitable, and effective in relation to position
- Continuous assessment of opportunities for improvement and any needed changes to management systems
- Assisting with production line testing and trouble shooting as required
Qualifications
- 1 – 3 years of practical technical experience in the area of electronics
- Ability to work with high voltage power equipment such as Hi-pot testing and electricalAC/DC systems
- Experience in soldering small components a plus
- Attention to detail, team player, and experience with Microsoft Office software (word, excel, etc.)
- Knowledge of the NFPA National Electric Code (NEC) a plus
- Other field experience with custom equipment is beneficial
