Senior Geotechnical Engineer(Licensed)

Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for a full-time, on-site position in Chino, CA. The successful candidate will conduct geotechnical site assessments, evaluate subsurface and soil conditions, and apply advanced geotechnical principles to a variety of projects. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing foundation systems and performing related structural assessments
• Preparing comprehensive technical engineering reports
• Overseeing field and laboratory testing activities
• Providing specialized guidance to clients and multidisciplinary project teams
• Managing projects efficiently while coordinating closely with internal staff

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of direct geotechnical engineering experience in Southern California
• Required: Licensed Geotechnical Engineer (GE) in California; Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
• Extensive experience in site investigations and soil characterization
• Strong expertise in geotechnical engineering and engineering geology
• Proficiency in foundation system design and structural evaluation
• Exceptional analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate effectively with team members
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions and report preparation
• Familiarity with Southern California’s geotechnical conditions, codes, and regulatory environment
