Job Title: HVAC EstimatorsLocation: Glendale Heights, ILEmployment Type: Full-Time | On-siteCompensation: Competitive – Based on ExperienceAbout the RoleWe’re looking for two Estimators to join a leading commercial refrigeration and HVAC team — one experienced professional and one entry-level candidate ready to grow into the role.As an Estimator, you’ll be the bridge between design and delivery — turning project plans into clear, accurate numbers that help our teams build efficiently and confidently. You’ll work on supermarket refrigeration projects that power major retail spaces across the country.This is a great opportunity to be part of a specialized trade that offers long-term stability, growth, and learning from some of the best in the business.What You’ll DoReview and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents.Prepare detailed labor and material takeoffs using internal estimating tools.Develop accurate, data-driven project estimates and define clear scopes of work.Collaborate with project and regional teams to create competitive bid strategies.Communicate assumptions, clarifications, and risks clearly to all stakeholders.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and post-bid reviews as needed.Contribute ideas to help streamline estimating processes and team efficiency.What We’re Looking ForFor Experienced Estimators:Proven background in supermarket refrigeration estimating or related mechanical/HVAC estimating.Strong organizational and analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and deadlines.Solid understanding of construction drawings and trade coordination.For Entry-Level Candidates:Ability to read blueprints and construction specs.Background in CAD/BIM, mechanical systems, or data analysis is a plus.A self-motivated learner with a strong desire to grow in a technical field.For Everyone:Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Strong attention to detail and time management.Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.Proficiency with Excel or estimating software tools is a plus.Why You’ll Love Working HereBe part of a growing team in a specialized and stable industry.Competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities based on experience.Supportive work culture that values continuous learning and teamwork.Exposure to large-scale commercial projects that make a real impact.
