Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 remote)
Base Salary: $60,000 - $64,000
We are partnering with a highly respected national professional services firm seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join its growing Accounting team in Los Angeles.

Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices, payments, and check requests accurately and timely
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor issues
- Reconcile accounts and monitor payment activity
- Handle vendor communications professionally and efficiently
- Schedule and process bi-weekly paper checks
- Enter miscellaneous accounting transactions and bank transfers
- Manipulate and format data for upload into accounting systems
- Support the Accounting team with additional AP-related projects and responsibilities
What They Are Looking For
- 1-2 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of work
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Experience with Aderant or Emburse is a plus, but not required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is helpful, but not required
- Legal or professional services experience is a plus, but not required
