Summary:
Directs and coordinates compliance with all required credentialing documentation for the providers at Ravenwood Health.
Credentialing Liaison is a non-exempt position with the following Job Duties:
- Ensure that new hire information is submitted in a timely manner
- Track new hires and ensure that their credentialing is completed
- Maintain a tracking sheet of insurance companies and staff that are networked
- Communicate with staff and leadership about updates to credentialing
- Attend meetings with the credentialing agency
- Assist with credentialing related insurance denials
- Gather information about insurance company rules
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain, in detail, necessary processes to others within agency.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and work independently.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office with strong experience in excel
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma
- 2 years experience in contracting and credentialing
- Understanding of the credentialing process for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans
- Familiar with NPI enrollment
- Must be able to pass an FBI/BCI background check and TB test.
Travel and Schedule Expectations
Monday through Friday, daytime shift with some flexibility on scheduled hours. Limited travel between office locations. Occasional travel to local trainings usually during normal business hours.
