Essential Functions:
- Establish safe and efficient machine and daily procedures including lockout/tagout.
- Work alongside workforce to set pace and implement best practices.
- Responsible for data entry of all production in Southware and production summary in Excel.
- Maintain exceptional production, quality and productivity while following specifics of production instructions/cards.
- Coordinate with oncoming Team Leader priorities and responsibilities relating to production.
- Ensure all production activities are performed, documented and completed to required standards of safety, thoroughness, accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee, guide and participate in shift training of all production employees and new hires.
- Interact with Lab to ensure timely testing of blend properties and offline testing.
- Ensure plant is clean, orderly and safe.
- Assist in company programs, job training, job evaluation and attendance.
- Ensure company policies are followed, issue warnings and assist in administering approved disciplinary measures.
- Maintain company safety, housekeeping and environmental standards and procedures.
- Observe and assist with equipment setup and upkeep as it relates to production and notify Maintenance Department of any problems or concerns.
- Protective equipment procedures must be followed and enforced.
- Safeguard company property.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Uphold the RMA Code of Conduct standards and be aware of the management policy and objectives.
- Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
