What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Operations Specialist position at Rausch Sturm LLP?
Reporting to the Manager – Payment Processing, the Accounting Operations Specialist will work within the Accounting Team documenting payments and performing customer service related to payments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Reviews and reconciles daily payments received
- Generates and reviews payment posting reports
- Researches and corrects account discrepancies
- Reconciles trust account ledgers
- Investigates and resolves misapplied payments
- Assists the Controller and CFO with account level balance reconciliations
- Assists the Controller and CFO with cash disbursement and reporting
- Participates in other activities as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
- have the ability optimize work processes in a fast paced-environment
- have strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and have the ability to collaborate.
Education and Experience:
- Must have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in either Accounting or Finance with two or more years of related experience.
Salary : $21 - $25
