School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Lake Havasu City & Parker, AZ
Pay: $60–$70 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
Contract Duration: End of July 2026 – May 2027
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a school district serving students from Preschool through High School in the Lake Havasu City and Parker, Arizona areas.
This position offers a manageable caseload, strong support from a full-time COTA, and dedicated time for evaluations, documentation, and IEP-related responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school-based setting
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams
- Complete annual reviews, progress reports, and required documentation
- Support student success across multiple school campuses
Position Details
- Approximately 25-student caseload
- Full-time COTA support
- Coverage across 6 schools (2 interconnected campuses)
- Travel between Lake Havasu City and Parker school sites (carpool available)
- Preschool through High School student population
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) License
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience
- School-based experience preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Strong evaluation, documentation, and IEP skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
