FULL-TIME: $86,000 to 90,000 (depending on experience) San Tan Valley / Florence

PART-TIME: Hourly positions also available: $57 - $60 per hour (2 days) in Maricopa

OTR JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide occupational therapy services and implement treatment for individuals who need support in the areas of fine motor, gross motor, visual motor, sensory, and executive functioning to perform daily activities and access their environment.

ESSENTIAL OTR FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write and maintain proper documentation of student evaluation in a timely fashion
• Work in accordance with applicable principles and scope of practice of an OTR, Ridge Zeller Therapy policies/procedures, and Arizona/federal regulations/guidelines
• Manage time effectively to complete paperwork within the required timelines
• Demonstrate a team-oriented approach
• Exhibit professional and friendly interaction with students, families, and colleagues
• Collaborate and be flexible when working with colleagues and families
• Represent Ridge Zeller Therapy in the highest professional manner whenever working within the school
• Administer formal and informal assessments
• Analyze and interpret evaluation information to make recommendations regarding the need for occupational therapy services.
• Maintain records of the occupational therapy program and prepare periodic reports as required (e.g., progress reports, treatment notes, etc).
• Adhere to established rules, regulations, laws, and appropriate ethical standards
• Supervise graduate interns, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs), students, and other professionals (as appropriate)
• Provide individualized treatment Attend meetings, such as Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings, Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (MET) meetings, special education meetings, and parent-teacher conferences
• Develop appropriate IEP presents levels of performance and goals based on students’ strengths & needs
• Modify classroom equipment to accommodate children with disabilities to particulate in daily activities

• ABOTE Occupational Therapist Registered License (OTR)
• AZ IVP fingerprint clearance card
• Valid driver’s license

COMPENSATION

FULL-TIME SALARIED POSITIONS: $86,000 to $90,000 (depending on experience)

PART-TIME HOURLY POSITIONS: $57 - $60 /per hour

WORK ENVIRONMENTS

• This job operates in professional school environments
• This role routinely uses standard office equipment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, WORKING CONDITIONS OF POSITION

• Stationary position - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
• Ascend, Descend, Bending, Twisting, Reaching, Walking - Occasionally ascends/descends a step stool to stock office supplies or therapy tools. Constantly ascending/descending, pushing/pulling in seated and on-the-floor therapy exercises. Constantly walking around school campus or office
• Operate, Activate, Use, Prepare, Inspect, Place, Detect, Position - Constantly operates a computer and other office machines, such as copy machine, laminator, and printer
• Shared Workspace - Must be able to work efficiently and effectively in a small workspace
• Communicate, Converse with, Discern, Convey, Express Oneself, Exchange information - The person in this position frequently communicates with staff regarding client therapy. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
• Move, Transport, Position, Put, Install, Remove - Frequently moves therapy supplies weighing up to 25 pounds into the workroom onto shelves or storage space
