Production Associate

Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:30 PM – 4:00 AM (Shift schedules may occasionally include weekends depending on business needs)

Important Requirements:

• Reliable transportation is required.
• Steel-toed shoes are required. If unavailable, composite safety shoe covers may be provided.
• Candidates must be comfortable working in a production environment and standing for extended periods.

Work Environment:

• The role involves working in a production facility and occasionally entering a chiller room (approximately 38°F).
• Hearing protection is provided due to a noisy production environment.
• Required PPE includes a lab jacket, protective glasses, helmet, and shoe covers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow supervisor instructions to meet production demands while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Transfer carts of production between processing areas and chillers.
• Monitor and report product discrepancies to supervisors or leads.
• Align products at the production table and flip trays in chillers when required.
• Rework products that do not meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace following safety and sanitation practices.
• Follow food safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and workplace policies.
• Assist in other areas such as the kitchen when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs with assistance), and working in varying temperature environments.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes noisy production setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior experience in the food industry is a plus.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required.
