Job Summary
RapidFire Safety & Security is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join our growing team. We are committed to providing exceptional service to our clients and ensuring the safety of their properties through comprehensive fire protection solutions.
Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Installing, testing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems, emergency exit lights, fire hydrants, and fire pumps as per National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards and local codes.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing existing fire protection systems to identify and repair malfunctions.
- Completing detailed inspections and documentation of all work performed.
- Collaborating with fellow technicians and management to ensure efficient project completion.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including tools and equipment.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Traveling to various customer locations within the assigned region.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the fire protection industry, preferably with experience in commercial settings.
- Must hold a valid California Fire Sprinklers Fitter card or in process with experience to uptrain California Fire Sprinklers Fitter card.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong note-taking skills.
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including climbing ladders, scaffolding, and working in confined spaces.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
- Available to work full-time, Monday-Friday.
$38-45/hour
