Service Repair Technician - Somerset, WI

Rapid Marine is seeking Service Technicians / Boat Riggers of all experience levels to join our growing, family-owned, multi-brand marine dealership at our NEW location in Somerset, WI. Rapid Marine is a dealer and factory-authorized service center for leading marine brands, including:

• Boats: Lund, Crestliner, and Harris
• Engines: Mercury Outboards, MerCruiser I/O

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and warranty work on boats and marine engines, including outboards and I/O systems
• Complete routine maintenance and seasonal service
• Rig and install new engines
• Install trolling motors, fish finders, and marine electronics
• Perform winterization and shrink-wrapping
• Use diagnostic tools to test, diagnose, and set up engine components
• Perform trailer maintenance, including bearings and brake service
• Assist with boat unloading, cleaning, and maintaining a clean, organized shop

Qualifications

• Previous experience with automotive or marine accessory installation is a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of shop equipment and proper tool usage
• Must own a basic set of hand tools (specialized tools provided on site)
• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• High regard for cleanliness and respect for customer property
• Good customer service skills, including the ability to explain repairs directly to customers

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $18.00 – $32.00 per hour (based on experience)
