- Perform repairs and maintenance on hulls, rigging, fiberglass & sheet metal components, and electrical systems
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, bodywork tools
- Conduct disassembly, repair, and refinishing of damaged boats. Most are trailerable size.
- troubleshoot electrical systems with tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
Skills
- service technician experience in marine or vehicle bodywork.
- Electrical experience including troubleshooting wiring systems and using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters
- Knowledge of aluminum sheet metal work, and the use of hand tools and power tools for precise repairs
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards
