What are the responsibilities and job description for the Multi-Role Bakery Associate position at Rao's Bakery Coffee cafe?
Rao's Bakery is a very unique concept, which includes a full-service bakery, deli, specialty coffee drinks and Gelateria (Italian Ice Cream).
Rao's has different positions you would learn:
- Cashier: Cash handling, customer service and stocking product
- Drive thru: Cash handling, taking orders thru headset , washing dishes
- Barista: in Italian roughly translates into bartender. In America it comes to reference a person who has gained a level of expertise and knowledge in serving espresso based drinks
- Deli station: Building sandwiches to order and running them out to customers
Responsibilities and Duties
- Greeting customer
- Brewing coffee
- Making specialty coffee drinks
- Stocking station and Coffee bar
- Register operations and money handling
- Busing tables and washing dishes
- Maintain clean work station
- Answering phone
Qualifications and Skills
- Have the ability to develop positive working relationships with all restaurant personnel and work as part of a team by helping others as needed or requested.
- Have the ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other employees
- Have the ability to maintain a professional appearance at all times and display a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments
- Be able to exhibit a cheerful and helpful attitude, and provide exceptional customer service
- Be able to follow instructions for recipes and sanitation guidelines
- Have the ability to demonstrate a complete understanding of the menu
- Have the ability to be cross-trained

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
