Rantec Microwave Systems, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Warehouse/Shipping Clerk
The Warehouse/Shipping Clerk is an entry level position. This role includes administrative and physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, warehouse, distributing and order fulfillment of materials and supplies. The primary responsibility is to support activities in the warehouse, shipping/receiving and material movement on the manufacturing floor.

The Warehouse/Shipping Clerk is an entry level position. This role includes administrative and physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, warehouse, distributing and order fulfillment of materials and supplies. The primary responsibility is to support activities in the warehouse, shipping/receiving and material movement on the manufacturing floor.
Position Responsibilities
- Receives and counts stock items, and records data using computerized system (ERP).
- Packs and unpacks items to be stocked on shelves in stockroom.
- Assists in verifying inventory by comparing physical counts of stock and investigates discrepancies.
- Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in stockroom
- Assists in material issuances, products, parts, and supplies based on information from incoming requisitions (kit pulls).
- Assist in moving production parts throughout the factory floor.
- Assist in Shipping and Receiving of products.
- On occasion drive the company vehicle to transport products to suppliers or freight companies (UPS/FedEx/USPS).
- The ability to operate a forklift will be required.
- On occasion move WIP throughout the manufacturing floor.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Related functional experience (i.e.- previous stockroom/inventory/shipping/receiving) or equivalent combination of experience.
- Demonstrated computer skills with knowledge of ERP systems. CostPoint preferred.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required to drive company vehicles.
- Knowledge and understanding of safe material handling practices.
- Communicates effectively.
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
- 1-2 years of experience.
Physical Demands
- Ability to work in a factory floor environment.
- Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent)
- Operate forklift, dolly, pallet jack in loading and unloading supplies and equipment.
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. and of varying sizes.
