POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The RF Test Engineer is responsible for performing testing on various types of microwave antennas and subassemblies using network analyzers and automated test ranges. This position will be responsible for performing tests outlined in acceptance test procedures and/or in the work instructions. Responsibilities will also include working with Engineering on new R&D projects, supporting test functions and providing accurate test results.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities will also include working with Engineering on new R&D projects, supporting test functions and providing accurate test results.
Required Skills:
- Setup and perform specialized antenna pattern measurements utilizing computer automated test ranges
- Previous experience with pattern testing using MI-NSI Technologies, Orbit FR equipment
- RF test equipment: network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters and general lab equipment
- Must have computer background with knowledge of Excel and Word
- Ability to write test reports and work from limited procedural input
Desired Skills:
- Demonstrated strong team player, self-starter and project leadership skills
- Have demonstrated to be a problem solver and ability to troubleshoot test related issues
- Capability of functioning in a small company environment and high pace environment
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at a time
Experience:
- Requires 10 years as a microwave technician
- Work in an engineering environment
- Related microwave education is desirable
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree as a minimum
- This position requires the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Occasional overtime will be required
