Are you an experienced Phlebotomist who is passionate about patient care and specimen collection? We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Phlebotomist I (Patient Services Representative I) to join our team in Boca Raton, FL.
Key Responsibilities- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing
- Ensure accurate labeling and documentation of patient information
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and safety standards
- Deliver exceptional patient service while creating a comfortable and professional environment
- Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collections as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Complete all assigned duties accurately and on time
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Minimum 1 year of recent phlebotomy experience required
- 2 years of phlebotomy experience preferred
- Strong pediatric and geriatric blood draw skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Keyboard and data entry proficiency
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred
