What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Tech/Medical Assistant position at Rangam Consultants?
Role: Drug Manufacturing Tech (Manager is looking for Pharmacy Technician/Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist)
Duration: 12-month contract with high possibilities of extension
Pay Rate: $21.50/hr
Location: North Chicago, IL
There are two first shift work schedules available to work.
- Group #1, Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm. Group #2, Monday – Thursday 6:00AM – 4:30PM.
- Overtime is not mandatory but is highly encouraged.
- Overtime for Group #1 consists of working 1 hour prior to the start of shift (starting at 6:00AM) or staying 1 hour at the end of the shift (until 4:30PM).
- Overtime for Group #2 consists of working 7:00AM-3:30PM on Friday (half days are available for Overtime on Fridays).
Rangam is seeking a Pharmacy Technician/Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist
Key Responsibilities:
- Label syringes, vials, bottles & cartons with patient info
- Perform kit assembly (IV bags, syringes, cartons)
- Fill bottles/blisters using semi-automatic equipment
- Conduct quality checks & maintain documentation
- Pack products & maintain clean/sanitized workspace
Requirements:
- Experience handling syringes/vials/needles (medical/pharma background)
- Labeling & kit assembly experience
- Strong attention to detail & ability to follow SOPs
Pay: $21.50 per hour
